Should I write many hundreds of pages for my dissertation as required by my mentor or thesis advisor ?
I found this interesting comment on the Web:
“My village school teacher’s advice is still applicable:
If you know the answer, put it as briefly as possible.
If you do not know the answer, write 3 pages of good English.
A good thesis can be completed within a few tens of pages, backed by solid publications in top quality journals and conferences. That will save unnecessary labour for both writing and examining.
